Description

The leaves of Macledium spinosum are covered in whitish hairs that may disappear as the leaves age. The leaf-shape is broadly obovate, their margins entire with one apical spine or a few scattered ones along the margins. Leaves become about 1,5 cm to 2 cm long (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010).
