Description

The Psilocaulon vygies produce solitary terminal or axillary flowers. The typical terete (cylindric and tapering) leaves are opposite in this species. The 13 species in the genus all occur in South Africa, Namibia and Angola in arid areas (www.biodiversityexplorer.org).
