Dark dots are visible in picture upon the Antimima piscodora leaf surfaces; also some wrinkling from moisture shortage. There is usually a waxy covering on Antimima leaves.

The oldest fruit stalks have lost their capsules, only finger-like dry sepals and maybe bracts spreading in a star-shape.

The deep-keeled leaves, triangular in cross-section, grow neatly in pairs; the younger pair emerging from the slit between the leaves of the older pair. Some old pairs remain as sheaths, useful as a covering for the new arrivals during the inhospitable off-season (Smith, et al, 1998; iNaturalist).
