This pale Acrodon bellidiflorus plant is having a tough time on its gravelly patch in the Langeberg Mountains, judging from the leaf coloration. The leaves are still undamaged though, lots of stored juice to use until the rains come.

The characteristic feature of teeth along the upper keels of the triangular leaves is clear to see. About five whitish teeth are evenly spaced where the keel curves in to the tip.

Other margin parts are smooth in picture. Some A. bellidiformis leaves also have teeth along all the angled upper margins (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Smith, et al, 1998).
