Description

The six tepals of a Trachyandra revoluta flower curl back strongly, almost into a ball-shape. They are narrow and oblong with rounded or pointed tips, white in colour with a brown line down the centre on both surfaces. The tepals curve in along their margins. There is a yellow spot on each tepal at the point where it starts to recurve.

The six stamens topped by pale yellow, bilobed, oblong anthers are nearly as long as the thin, white style in the centre tipped by a tiny stigma (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2009; Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
