Microloma sagittatum or bokhorinkies in Afrikaans, meaning "little horns of an antelope", is a slender climbing shrublet. It has many thin rambling green stems, narrow leaves and small clusters of pinkish red flowers. The plant is so heavily browsed that the presence of mature plants indicate good veld management.

This species is found from the Little Karoo to the west coast and northwards into Namaqualand. The genus of 10 species comprises a few found in distributions that overlap with M. sagittatum. These include M. calycinum, M. tenuifolium and M. namaquense (Manning, 2009; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010).
