Description

Euphorbia burmannii false flowers turned fruit show the three bulging green fruit segments. Styles tipped with decaying stigma remains are still slightly visible on the fruit tops. These fruits have a fine covering of velvety hairs.

Markedly smaller than the fruit, the yellow flowers also present at many stem-tips are about 3 mm in diameter. This plant bears bisexual false flowers (Frandsen, 2017; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010).
